Things have been busy with Boston's Cultural Planning process and I wanted to take a moment to give you an update and invite you to the next Town Hall.
It has been almost a year since we officially kicked off the cultural planning process. During this time, we have spoken to thousands of individuals who live, work and create in the City of Boston. Community conversations happened in every neighborhood and we engaged a diverse group of people. We asked about your vision and priorities for arts and culture in the City. Then we presented what we heard and asked if we had it right. Many of you weighed in and gave us valuable feedback.
Over the past four months, we have reviewed and analyzed the data we collected. The Boston Creates team has worked closely with the Steering Committee and the Leadership Council to develop the overarching goals of the plan and the identified strategies and partners that will help us get there.
On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Bunker Hill Community College, we will hold the next Boston Creates Town Hall. We invite all of you to attend and learn about these goals and strategies and let us know: Do they resonate with you? Where do you see yourself in the cultural plan? We’ll be asking for your feedback onsite as we look to prioritize the goals of the plan. Please RSVP in advance at www.bostoncreates.eventbrite.com.
Thank you for supporting the cultural planning process. We look forward to seeing you on March 28th at Bunker Hill Community College.
