Boston’s cultural planning process is being implemented by a team of consultants with expertise in creating cultural plans for municipalities across the country.

Boston Creates is facilitated by the Cultural Planning Group, a consulting practice serving the field of arts and culture with some of the country’s foremost experts in organizational capacity building and public art. Locally, they are working with WolfBrown, Archipelago Strategies, Department of Play, Callanan & Klein Communications and Minelli, Inc. to create Boston’s cultural plan. TDC is providing oversight for the process and supporting the City in managing cultural planning.

The cultural planning process was funded by the Barr Foundation and the Klarman Family Foundation.
